O show de despedida do Black Sabbath original, também um “adeus” do vocalista Ozzy Osbourne em carreira solo, será transmitido ao vivo pela internet. O festival Back to the Beginning, com participação de vários outros músicos e bandas, acontece dia 5 de julho, no Villa Park, em Birmingham, Inglaterra.

O show de despedida do Black Sabbath
O Black Sabbath anunciou o último show de sua carreira com a formação original. Acontecerá em 5 de julho, no Villa Park, estádio em Birmingham, cidade inglesa onde a banda foi formada. Todos os lucros irão para as seguintes instituições de caridade:
Cure Parkinson’s, entidade inglesa que financia pesquisas com objetivo de curar, interromper ou reduzir a evolução do Parkinson;
Birmingham Children’s Hospital, centro médico em Birmingham especializado em cuidar de crianças e adolescentes;
Acorn Children’s Hospice, instituição que presta cuidados paliativos e apoio a crianças com sérios problemas de saúde e suas famílias em toda a região de West Midlands.
O evento também verá inúmeras apresentações de outros ícones da cena. Ozzy Osbourne (solo), Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Mastodon e Rival Sons estão escalados, além de convidados adicionais Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan, Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Lzzy Hale, Jake E. Lee, Jonathan Davis (Korn), K.K. Downing, Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Slash, Sleep Token II (Sleep Token), Tom Morello e Wolfgang Van Halen.
O último show do Black Sabbath até o momento ocorreu no dia 4 de fevereiro de 2017, na Genting Arena, em Birmingham, Inglaterra. Como mencionado, Tommy Clufetos, integrante da banda solo de Ozzy, substituía Bill Ward nas baquetas.
